It’s such an honor to collaborate with the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau. We began work this spring on developing a broader and deeper membership engagement strategy. The Boston team and I are passionate and committed to implementing a diverse and inclusive growth strategy—one that both connects the entire community and drives economic growth.
This week we kicked off a central part of our work together with the inaugural meeting of our Membership Focus Group. We’re drawing from a diverse range of neighborhoods, small businesses and organizations from across Boston to reimagine and rebuild an inclusive membership model.
Our meeting with key community stakeholders including the City of Boston‘s Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion and Boston Main Streets, was another example of the value of face-to-face communication. Gaining a better understanding of our partners’ challenges, identifying opportunities, building mutual trust and growing participation are just a few of the benefits.
I’m so excited to align with these partners and continue this process with the Boston team!
